Archetype: The Box

“We all have a box we live within. Break through to release your individual light… or stay safely inside.”

One day, I pulled the card “The Box” from an archetype deck with a friend. The card showed a bright light inside a cube, with dreamy clouds surrounding it. As we talked, I realized this card mirrored the part of me that had been feeling trapped — by expectations, norms, and invisible walls.

I reflected:

• The box is safe, but it hides my light.

• The world outside is unpredictable, but it’s where my soul wants to go.

• What if the real treasure is not just inside the box… but in opening it?

That day, I wrote:

“Will I regret staying inside the box at the end of my life?”

My soul answered, softly but clearly: Yes.

So here I am. Making space for light to spill out. One flap at a time. One truth at a time.
